The 5th and 6th of April 2017, COROMA consortium met in BA Systemes, the most active French player in the field of internal logistic systems with automated vehicles, or “AGVs”, for the six month General Meeting and the first Exploitation Strategy Seminar.
The objective of the meeting was to present the state of development of the different work-packages, and the planning of the upcoming tasks.
According to the project coordinator Javier Hernández, from IK4-IDEKO Research Center , the aim of the meeting was fulfilled, and project partners took advantage of the opportunity to share the technical advance of the tasks, and define in a more detailed way the conditions of industrial cases. On the other hand, the initial Seminar, a first approach to the definition of the exploitation results of COROMA developments, was an interesting exercise with the result of the description of several promising exploitable products.
Attendants to the meeting had the opportunity to visit BA Systemes’s manufacturing facilities at Mordelles.
