PRIVACY POLICY

About this policy

This policy explains what types of personal information will be gathered when you visit the COROMA website, how this information will be used as well as your rights under the Data Protection Act.

Information collected

The COROMA website is composed of a members registered area for partners of the COROMA project, and a public area in which to enable dissemination of the publically available information relating to the project.

As a public visitor, you will not be required to provide any personal information.

Registered members will be asked to provide some limited personal information in order to enable the provision of certain services (e.g. to confirm their identity and allow allocation to the secure members area). This information is stored electronically. By supplying this information you are consenting to the COROMA project holding and using it for the purposes for which it was provided. Information provided will be kept for as long as is necessary to fulfil that purpose.

We will only use your data for the purpose for which it was collected, to enable us to administer processes and provide membership services. We will retain your data for 7 years following the end of the project OR until finalization of the project and removal of the website.

We only use ‘strictly necessary cookies’: these are essential in order to enable you to move around the website and use it’s features. For those partner members that have been invited to register, without these cookies the services you have asked for, such as registering for an account, cannot be provided.

To find out more about cookies, including how to see what cookies have been set and how to manage and delete them please visit allaboutcookies.org.
