IT+Robotics s.r.l.
IT+Robotics s.r.l. (ITR) a spinoff company of the University of Padova. It was created in 2005 by professors working in the field of robotics and young, brilliant people coming from the Information Engineering Department of the University of Padua. The mission of ITR is to increase the flexibility of industrial processes by transforming the latest results of the academic research into industrial solutions. In particular, ITR key expertise is in the fields of: artificial vision systems, real-time operating systems, software agents management, and robot simulation.
Role in the COROMA Project
IT+Robotics , thanks to its experience in vision guided robotics and motion planning, will contribute to the development of machine vision algorithms for scene understanding, and the design of a system of a detailed 3D acquisition that will be used in to feed the automatic robot programming system.
