COROMA research project partners visited Equipos Nucleares S.A. in order to define the industrial use case scenario and ensure that the project developments will be aligned with real requirements from the European manufacturing industry. Researchers from IK4-IDEKO, IUT de Nantes, BA Systèmes and Shadow Robot Company were introduced to the facilities, parts and processes from Equipos Nucleares. COROMA is an Horizon 2020 innovation project funded by the European Commission that will develop a cognitively enhanced robot for the manufacturing of metal and composite parts seeking to provide more flexibility to the European manufacturing sector.
