On the 11th October, after having the 12 months General meeting, Modules Integration Workshop took place at IK4-IDEKO facilities. The main objective of the workshop is to progress in the definition of the integration structure.
As a result of the workshop the Workflow of ENSA rack grinding, ENSA’ NDT inspection and ACITURRI’ jet part grinding were reviewed and their level of detail increased.
The companies participating in COROMA project have the mission to construct flexible prototypes that can carry out up to six different tasks, and to achieve these highly modular robots must be designed. The project will develop seven CORO-modules that can also be used to improve the performance of already existing robotic systems. For this reason, the COROMA modular platform is an innovative development in itself.
