The meeting has allowed the COROMA Work Package Leaders to discuss with key representatives of different areas the project approach, work progress and future tasks to be done. Coming from the world of robotics (Roboconsul), research (ManuFuture), manufacturing (BAE Systems and PSA), and safety (INSHT), the opinion and advice of the Board has allowed to evaluate the quality of the developments carried out so far, and to guide the way of the project to a successful end.
The key aspect that both, European Commission and COROMA partners, go after is the industrial exploitation of the results achieved. Periodical checking with the Independent Advisory Board is an optimal way to successfully align the work to that goal. Furthermore, the result of the meeting will provide the consortium with the evidence of a real-time correction of the project direction, that European Commission will surely value positively.
Along the project length, two more meetings are scheduled, one per year.
