This project is funded by the European Union under the Horizon 2020 Programme under grant agreement no. 723853.

The kick-off meeting of COROMA project was held on October 4th-5th in the Spanish embassy in Brussels. Main objectives of the meeting were to set the official start of the project, establish relations between all partners, provide clarification about administrative issues and define the specific work that each participant is going to make in the following months.

This project is coordinated by the research centre IK4-IDEKO and seeks to develop a robot equipped with cognitive capabilities that can run multiple tasks in the field of manufacturing including drilling, trimming, deburring, polishing and non-destructive inspection. Continuous process learning, mobility, dexterity and interaction with both humans and other machines are comprised in the project.
